US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has urged Israeli Occupation and Hamas to "stay on track" with efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.

Blinken emphasized that ongoing negotiations for a Gaza ceasefire may represent the "last" opportunity to achieve a truce, as the assault has persisted for over 10 months.

"This is a critical moment, likely the best and possibly last chance to bring the detainees home and achieve a ceasefire, putting everyone on a better path to lasting peace and security," Blinken stated during a meeting with Israeli Occupation President Isaac Herzog. This visit marks Blinken's ninth Middle East trip since October 7.

The US State Department announced that Blinken will travel to Egypt on Tuesday, following meetings with Israeli Occupation President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Monday.

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, asserted that it has responsibly engaged with mediators' efforts and proposals aimed at stopping the aggression on Gaza.

Hamas accused Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of obstructing progress towards an agreement. The movement explained that the new proposal aligns with Netanyahu's conditions, particularly his rejection of a permanent ceasefire and withdrawal from Gaza. Netanyahu also insists on maintaining control over the Nitzarim Junction, Rafah Crossing, and the Philadelphi Route.
